Something you may not know about these discounts.
My husband has been a Sons Of The American Legion (S.A.L.) well since he has been born. :)

We have always known that his father has gotten his membership card every year and is entitled to discounts and so on. What we didn't know was that my husband was entitled to benefits and discounts as well. An S.A.L. almost gets the same discounts and benefits as their fathers, we had no clue until recently.

For instance off certain hotels, like Motel 8, Ramada just to name a couple, rental car like Budget, Avis, prescriptions, airline travel - they have their own travel agency to book your flights and so much more. Some saving on things may be as little as 10%, but that's still saving money, but on other things the savings is much higher.

One thing that has benefited my husband recently was on prescriptions at CVS, do to a nasty tooth that had to be pulled that broke off and it was a surgery to get it out. All they did when he mentioned being an S.A.L. is look up his dad's name and Legion number and he saved close to 50% off his prescriptions.

You can also look this up just by going online and typing about benefits for S.A.L. I have also been asked about the women that are daughters of vets of the Legion. I do not know to much about this, you would need to look up the Women's Auxiliary.
