All the while obtaining solid reviews, Cuisinart has been making kitchen gadgets for twenty-five years. Their toaster oven product line offers a lengthy set of features while also having a slightly retro feel.
History
Many amateur chefs have heard of the Cuisinart food processor, which had been first for sale at a conference in Illinois for home furnishings in 1973. They have diversified widely, so while they may have saturated their initial user base, today they offer a diverse lineup of all kitchen appliances.
Cuisinart has been known to manufacture high quality products with a distinct look that may seem retro, but employs the most up-to-date technologies.
Cuisinart Toaster Ovens
Today's Cuisinart toaster ovens are either classic looking or contemporary styled for any kitchen's needs. Several options are offered to cook toast exactly the way you want it along with the ability to fit a bagel in the openings. Carriage levers with extra power make it easier to remove the toast. Each toaster has a crumb tray that is removable and includes a limited warranty for three years from the manufacturer.
Here is a brief overview of individual Cuisinart toaster oven models:
Metal Classic
One can select a 2 or 4 slice version in a stainless steel finish and classic styling. The browning is determined by large dials and LEDs indicate the settings. The 4-Slide model has distinct levers for each side.
Classic Style
You may picture this toaster as the one that your grandmother had in her kitchen. A glossy brushed steel slot model that looks streamlined and minimalistic. All of the sophistication simply makes better toast.
4-Slice Tandem
Here is a sleek, powerhouse oven against which all toasters sold are measured against. A 1800-watt heating element makes toasting rapid and allows for rapid defrosting of frozen toaster pastries. This model also has a 2 or 4-slice switch, and a blue LED readout with easy to read numerals.
Countdown Metal
This toaster oven, also produced in dual or quad-slice varieties, has a stainless steel face and a decidedly euro-style styling. Two levers on the quad-slice version provide versatility, with a 6-level dial knob. Also featured are LED indicators and the most distinct characteristic, an LCD reverse-counting timer.
Compact Line
These slim ivory ovens, with two and quad-slice sold, are intended to be the answer to smaller kitchens that need to conserve counter area. Both toasters have the controls on the end so that they may be tucked in the area available and not hog the counter space. Includes LED touch-sensitive controls, and a multi-setting browning dial for maximum control over all toasting needs.
