The Fall is my favorite time of year, not only because of the changing colors of the leaves outside, or the fall smells, or the upcoming holiday season, of Thanksgiving and Christmas. But the real reason i love it this time of year, is because I get to retrieve all of my nice warm sweaters and other winter apparel, such as warm boots, jackets and pants.

The bad thing is that year after year, I tend to bring out less clothing for each season and store more each year, and then I have to shop for missing items. So as usual I'm out shopping at my local store and come home with tons of bags.

Returning with these items I am forced to realize that my closet was already overly full of clothing. What is my solution to this annual dilemma? Head back out to the store and look for organizing solutions that will allow me to keep the old clothes that I like as well as fit my new clothing.

If you need a closet organizer you should look around for places that sell cheap supplies. Of course, most of us would rather have a custom closet organizer. This is because we all have different needs so we all need different organizers, maybe you have a flip flop collection you need to organize. You will need something that will organize a collection of flip flops neatly and efficiently.

I prefer to customize my clothing space through removable and exchangeable pieces. Some of the best places to customize your space with removable, exchangeable, multi-functional and pieces that are also able to be rearranged are Ikea, Home Depot (or your local hardware/shelving/etc... store), or places like Kmart and Walmart. Many of these places have already-assembled pieces that are good for those looking for a "custom" look without all of the hassle of picking out your own pieces. However, these types of stores also offer products that you can pick and choose to assemble together to fit your needs!

Fortunately for those who would like to customize and organize the mess that they call a closet, but either don't have the time or the willingness to shop around or install, there are websites online that you can browse that offer custom installation. To find these sites all you need to do is perform a simple search, and most of these sites offer customization that is permanent, which means that the customization can't be removed or reorganized after install.

Some department stores offer consultations and installations to ease you through the process of choosing a design that is right for you. With a more efficient and organized home, you'll have more room for those clothes you absolutely *have* to own!

An already overstuffed closet makes it impossible for me to find room for the new items. This leaves only one option open that is making a dash for another shopping spree. I would rather customize my clothing area with pieces which are removable and exchangeable. Good places to find components to customize your space with interchangeable, removable multi-function parts are in stores such as Kmart and Wal-Mart or Home Depot (or even your local hardware store). You can go to a department store where you can get a consultation, and some even offer in home consultations.
